It was such a dumb mistake at first, but in the end was a success.

I forget sometimes that the prints I carve and make in lino and wood, will be a reverse image when printed. So, what do I do? When engraving a sheet of wood with my design, with each run taking close to twenty minutes, and only after three runs I notice that I had forgot to reverse my image in the first place, so that when I print with the wood block my image would be printed in the correct orientation.

It is a simple mistake, but on top of the fact I got a few settings wrong with the laser-cutter and used a rather big sheet of wood, it was a defeat for me today, especially with not having the best of nights beforehand and my senses being at an all time high (it was very loud). It is something to work on in my planning, and not just my daily schedule, maybe I should put up a check list next in my sketchbook or next to the laser-cutter so I make sure that i follow every step that I need to, so I can achieve what need to!
