March 1st - 2022: Looking at Past

This morning, first thing, Richard showed me and the group past works from previous students of FAD. It was interesting to see the range and difference between all the works and projects, and interesting to see how the grade that they were given reflects on their entire Final Major Project, final piece included.


To see the difference of what looks nice and was a good idea, compared to the projects that had more than one good idea and had some actual substance that made you really look at the work, instead of a simple glance that makes you think "that's a nice bit a of window dressing."


Looking at these past projects, hasn't really opened my eyes to the major difference between in the grade boundaries in that sense, but more defining the difference for me, and helping me to understand the level or work, final piece, project, sketchbooks, recorded, effort, ethic, display etc. and how I should implement what I have seen into my own FMP.
