Here we are, I am now somewhat finished with what I had planned to with my project. Now, I wouldn't stay I strayed away from my project, but I will say that is has changed a bit since I had first written out the proposal for this project.

I have kept to the original plan of creating a comic/short graphic novel for this project, but the fantasy themes that I had planned to use still exists in he form of the otherworldly being/imaginary polar opposite/negative entity which appears in the comic to talk to the protagonist, which is based off how I see the world and how I sometimes to myself, as well as how I have felt over the past year in regards to my own mental health.

But, on top of this all, I found a true and better understanding of where I have come from and where I am now, and how I have gotten here. It is my story, and the person who had always helped me with my vision and believed in me, was my grandfather. This may have already appeared in a post before, but I am going to talk about this again ahahah.

It is nice that I have been looking back at memories about him and talking to family members about what they remembered about him. He always believed that telling stories was a way to flow through life, as living is a continuous adventure! So why not honour the man who helped get me here, by telling everyone about him through this project, sharing my writing skills as well as artistic talents!

So far, I have managed to have five calls with different family members, been able to record some of the conversations, but most of them have been not, and from them I have managed to gather a collection of annotations, comments, stories, tales and annecdotes about my grandfather, some of which I already knew (and liked hearing a different view to it/telling of it), or heard some glimpses of, and even some moments in his life/their lives with him which I have never heard of at all. It has been a real joy to get to hear about the man who I lost four/five years ago now, and continue to see his legacy live on in me and the people who he had an affect on in life.

So with that, I have started to write up some of these stories, so of which I have exaggerated a little too make them more powerful, and combined with the different points of view so that they can become even strong, so in the end hopefully, those who read it, even my family, can understand the man who was so close to me. Along with the write ups, I have started to design and print a number of images that relate to the writings which I have done:
