May 13th - 2022: Almost There, But Not Quite...

As of today, the Geryboard cut outs of the comic pages are almost all cut out, I have roughly two or three left to cut out on the laser-cutter, even though it is really only four or six pages, the boards are double pages that share one single image that stretches across the two.

So, some of them are a bit harder to cut out as they so wide, this his because the boards needs to be completely flat so that they will take an even and proper engraving across the whole surface, otherwise the images won't print too well.

I have also noticed that some of these boards need two runs of the laser over them, so that the engraved areas have a deep enough trench for the ink to sit in, without it being removed by the rags that I use to rub off the excess ink from the boards before printing.
